Great story - Billy O'Shannessy, once a prominent Sydney barrister, is now on the homeless and living on the street where he sleeps on a bench outside the State Library in Sydney. Above him on a window ledge sits a bronze statue of Matthew Flinders' cat, Trim. (Matthew Flinders was the original explorer/sailor who was the first person to sail right around Tasmania, and to map it properly in the early 1800's).
